Year 6 Residential -

Year 6 have been in Norfolk all week for their outdoor adventure activity week, as part of the PE curriculum. They have been experiencing paddle boarding, canoeing, caving, climbing, archery, rifles, fencing and much more. Well done the year 6 teachers keeping up!

Dropping off in the morning -

Please remember that we encourage parents and carers to say their goodbye's just inside the gate. It really supports us with a safe handover if we can see all the children coming in and it builds their confidence to walk in by themselves. Of course, if you need to give a message to a member of staff, please go up to them directly, but if not please continue walking along the arrows on the floor. Thank you so much.

Awards -

Congratulations to Mrs Bigley and Mr Durrant for achieving the PE Gold Sports Mark! An outstanding achievement from the PE team. This adds to our Centre of Excellent Inclusion Quality Mark and our National Wellbeing for Schools Award. We should all be extremely proud of our school!

Black History Month

Black History Month will start on October 1st. We will be sharing some of the wonderful resources that are available to teachers and explore black history, heritage, culture and achievements with the pupils. In our school, we do not recognise these achievements this just in October, we incorporate a range of inspirational people of all backgrounds into our history teaching throughout the whole year and across the curriculum to reflect the wonderful diverse school population and the wider world.
