Miss Marsh will also be in Penguins Class Monday - Friday.
Miss Joshua will also be in for one afternoon.
In the Autumn term, our topic will be based around 'It's Good to be Me!', 'Autumn' and 'Christmas', but we also want to know what you love to play and talk about and will plan learning and activities around that!
We will be having some celebration days, including performing songs and stories to your parents, share activity sessions and dressing up days.
Parents, please look below for additional information about the Early Year's curriculum and how we teach Phonics and Maths at St Margaret's.

Autumn (2) 2022
We hope that you have all had a great half term break and enjoyed the autumnal weather over the week! 🍁🍂
We are looking forward to seeing the children back at school tomorrow and have lots of lovely activities planned for the next half term leading up to Christmas.
We will start with activities based around the story of 'The Three Little Pigs' - there will be lots of construction happening both in the classroom and in the outside areas!
We will also be learning about the celebrations this term, in particular over the next few weeks, Diwali and Fireworks!
Date for your diary - Thursday 1st December . Penguins and Puffins are going to start off your Christmas festivities with a short performance at 9.30 a.m. and we would love as many of you there as possible - more information to follow!
The children are enjoying their phonic sessions each morning, so far the children have learnt the following sounds...
s, a t, p, i, m and d. We will update you regularly with the sounds the children are learning via Tapestry.
We are also planning a 'phonics workshop' for you to attend in the near future where we will give you more information and ideas on how to support your child/ren through their journey with phonics and learning to develop a love for reading.

(Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage Setting the standards for learning, development and care for children from birth to five. 1:16)
