Draft Admissions Policy 2011/2012
Every year the school has to review and publish its future Admissions Policy. The policy for entry to St Margaret's CEVA School during the academic year 2011/2012 has a few minor ammendments. 17 December 2009 Severe Weather
I am sure you have all heard the severe weather warning for snow and heavy wind tonight and tomorrow morning. I hope that the weather forecasters are being cautious as we are all looking forward to enjoying the last day of term with the children.
However, in the unlikely event that the snow is as bad as predicted and the school is closed tomorrow, we will be unable to contact all parents individually so announcements will be made via local radio. Please tune into either Radio Suffolk 104.6, 103.9 or 95.5 FM or Heart FM 97.1 or 96.4, as they will announce all schools closed for that day. The information will also appear on the following websites: www.bbc.co.uk/suffolk and www.heart.co.uk
We always endeavour to keep the school open whatever the weather but, as many of the teachers live at least ten miles away from Ipswich, the school will have to close if there is not enough teaching staff to run the school.
Please be assured if the school has to close during the school day, due to severe weather, parents will be contacted personally to collect their children.
